Peadar Tóibín BA, PDES

Peadar Tóibín is the founder and CEO of réalt* Consulting. He has over 9 years experience in working with start-up and high-growth SMEs on all aspects of business development. Peadar is a "Recognised Teacher" with Queen's University Belfast.

Prior to founding réalt* Consulting Peadar was a senior consultant with brilliant red Consulting. During this time he was pivotal in the delivery of programmes to the following organisations:

Peadar took responsibility for day to day management of the InterTradeIreland FOCUS Programme. Peadar managed the Donegal County Enterprise Board 'Power Programme' from design stage to delivery. This programme provided one to one mentoring to over 300 female entrepreneurs. Peadar also is the lead consultant for Sligo Enterprise's Women's Network Programme which combined training presentations specifically tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs and also delivers network evenings.

Peadar Tóibín was key in brilliants red Consulting's delivery of direct client counselling and business mentoring on the Rural Development Council Programme of the North of Ireland and the Down and District Council Renaissance Programme.

Prior to joining brilliant red Consulting Peadar was head of Business Development with Motability Ireland. For his work with Motability Ireland Peadar was awarded a top three position in the Industry section of the Irish National Marketing and Sales Awards 2003. Peadar also headed the team that won Best Small Business in the North of Ireland at the InterTradeIreland awards in 2003.

In 2001, Peadar was the chief promoter of the Brú na Bóinne Brewery. In this position he researched a Feasibility Study and Business Plan for the start up and entry into the Micro Brewery industry in Ireland. This entailed analysis of both the micro and macro brewing sectors, the creation of new product lines from recipe to branding, design and development of market entry strategies and the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns.

Peadar was also author and researcher of a feasibility Report conducted ion behalf of Kindle Banking Systems.

He holds a BA in Economics and Politics from University College Dublin. He also holds a Postgraduate in Entrepreneurial Studies from the Michael Smurfit School of Business, UCD.

Eimear O'Connor

Eimear O'Connor, BA, MA, is a Senior Consultant with realt* Consulting. Eimear has over ten years experience within sales and marketing in the IT and Software sectors. Eimear has trained within the education sector notably within second and third level institutions, specialising in the subjects of German, French and Business Management.

Prior to joining réalt* Consulting Eimear was employed as a Business Development Manager with McLaughlin's, a leading supply firm to the Hotel and Restaurant equipment sector. Here she was responsible for developing relationships within the All Ireland Catering industry, brokering and maintaining strategic agreements between Ireland's two largest Catering companies and building market share.

Previous to this Eimear operated as a sales manager with Sharptext, an Irish Hardware Peripherals supplier. She was responsible for the targeting of specific customer sectors, managing a team of sales professionals, instituting and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management system and growing the business to over €1.8 million.

Eimear holds a BA in French and German from Trinity College, Dublin. Following a year of lecturing, she undertook a postgraduate Diploma in Languages and Business and complimented this study with a MA in same with the University of Ulster at Coleraine.

Larry O'Connor

Larry O'Connor is a senior IT Consultant with over 17 years working in the IT Industry. Larry specialises in web development / design, data integration and infrastructure upgrades and is also an Internet Marketing Specialist with over 4 years working as an affiliate marketer using both free and paid methods to drive quaified traffic to his suite of websites to sell both digital and physical products through online channels. Larry holds a BSc. in Applied Mathematics from the Universirty of Limerick and prior to joining réalt Consulting worked as a senior consultant through Sytem Dynamics into the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Solutions Delivery Team where he was responsible for the development and rollout of a web based customer management information system used throughout the branch retail network within Ireland.
